About Mitch
Mitch Shibagaki is the Executive Coordinator for Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA), which is comprised of Toyota Material Handling, Inc. (TMH) and The Raymond Corporation. He concurrently serves as TMH’s Executive Vice President and Treasurer, overseeing all financial aspects of the company and expanding profit and overall business strategy with Toyota’s global operations.
Shibagaki has been with Toyota for more than 28 years and has experience in multiple departments. Most recently, he served as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Group Manager for TMH’s parent company, Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO).
Shibagaki joined Toyota in 1994 as an engineer for the Automation Division, and eventually moved to the Business Planning Division on the forklift side of the company. He then served as the Assistant General Manager of Hoshin activity, FP&A and investment committee.
Shibagaki earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tohoku University in Japan. He currently resides in Columbus, Indiana.
